1. Drink more water

Yeah you’ve heard it all before but have you done it yet? Exactly. Now is the time to get that water bottle and drink your two litres. NO excuses.

2. Take the stairs

Get that step count up by always choosing to walk up stairs instead of taking the lift. We’re talking a few floors though, we don’t expect you to climb The Shard, babes.

3. Join a club

Whether it’s a book club or a boxing club, taking an hour out of your week to spend time focusing on something you enjoy while making mates who like the same thing as you. It can only boost your social life and happiness.

4. Be mindful of Mindfulness

Whether it’s downloading a meditation app or just thinking about what negative energy you can get rid of, mindfulness is super important to striking the perfect life balance.

5. Make your bedroom a phone-free zone

Maybe you’re getting that much-needed eight hours but is the quality of your sleep actually any good? Experts recommend not looking at your phone for at least an hour before you go to bed to calm your brain and wind down for the night.

6. Talk yourself up

Men have proven to be much better at singing their own praises than women and in turn building their reputations. So even though you hate bragging about yourself, give it a go.

7. Cancel one plan a week and don’t feel guilty about it

We’re not talking your sister’s birthday or BFF’s engagement party but as long as you give people notice and an alternate date then it’s okay so stay home when you’re despo not to go out. And don’t feel guilty.

8. Go for a ten minute walk at lunch

Get out and have some fresh air, listen to music or bring a mate. A change of scenery and exercise will relax your mind and get you ready to tackle the rest of the day.

9. Make your bed every day

Because there is nothing nicer than getting into a made bed and night. It will help you feel like you’ve got it together rather than the hot mess you think you are.

10. Have a complaint jar

Do you even realise how much you complain? Well you will when there’s fifteen quid in jar in front of you taunting you. The more you complain, the worse you feel. So shut it.
