Kanye West Cancelled His Carpool Karaoke And It Cost James Corden A Casual £35,000

When the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch asked why her son-in-law has never appeared on the show, the host replied that it’s not for a lack of trying: “Oh, I can answer this easily. This is a great question for me. We’ve tried. He’s cancelled twice. Maybe even three times.

“He cancelled once as I was turning the corner to his house. I was in a car, and by the time the call finished, I was sat outside his house, and they were like, ‘He’s not in the zone for it right now. We’ll do it another time.’”

James continued: “He did send me a lovely gift. He sent me these incredible flowers in a cube… and he sent me a pair of Yeezys. And people were like, ‘Whoa, they’re so expensive.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, they cost my show $45,000.’”

James Corden has revealed that he’s tried to book Kanye West for a Carpool Karaoke appearance but pointed out that the rapper keeps cancelling on their scheduled dates.

The revelation was made when Kris Jenner participated in a round of Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts on the Late Late Show and decided to fire back at those engagement rumours with a question of her own.

There’s still hope that Yeezy might one day rock out to his own hits on YouTube, with the host admitting that he couldn’t imagine anything better for the show: “He’s my dream,” he said. “He knows that. He’s my absolute dream.”

Fingers crossed this will actually come through.
