Location recording services
We offer a specialist location-recording service as part of the studio, with the obvious benefits of being able to mix down, master and duplicate the recorded material all in-house, in a superbly designed studio environment.
Using our expertise and experience in sound engineering, we can produce very high-quality multi-track recordings of classical, choral and jazz music, with the emphasis on recording and capturing live performances in front of audiences. Alternatively, we can produce a recording of a performance some time before it is due to be performed and produce finished CDs to be sold at the time of the live performance.
We use the latest high-quality Protools 24 bit 96khz recording equipment and an array of classic high-quality microphones to produce incredible recordings of great clarity and dynamic range, capturing every nuance of the performance. Once captured and recorded, you can then attend the studio during the mix-down process and add your own input on how the finished mix will sound, simply by adjusting the levels of various parts of the recording – eg, the strings or rhythm section of an orchestral recording. As the conductor/ performer, you are the best qualified to make such changes. Once the finished mix is complete, it will then be mastered for CD or vinyl; again, you can attend the session until you are completely happy with the result.
